The Lexington Senior Centers are looking for Group Fitness Instructors!
Do you have experience teaching group fitness classes?
Do you enjoy working with Senior adults?
- Rate of pay is based on experience

Classes are scheduled Monday- Friday between 9a - 4p
Minimum requirements include:

Two years' experience teaching varying styles of group fitness with the ability to effectively teach those styles in a group fitness setting with adult participants of all fitness levels

Comprehensive General Liability Insurance Policy

Subject to an audition prior to hiring

CPR Certification must be obtained within 60 days of employment

May be subject to a Criminal Record check
Responsibilities may include:
-
Instructs varying styles of group fitness classes for all fitness levels. Class styles may include zumba gold, line dancing, general exercise (seated and standing interval), yoga (seated and standing), and tai chi (seat and standing)

Creates classes that are organized with a motivating, exciting, high-energy, safe, and welcoming environment

Must arrive, well prepared, 10 - 15 minutes prior to class start time

Plays music appropriate for the senior population

Works well with choreography and/or freestyle classes

Maintains a friendly, professional demeanor with all members and staff
