Position: Independent Contractor/ Owner Operator
Vehicle Requirement: 26' Box Truck w/Liftgate and pallet jack
Availability: Monday through Friday
Hours: 7 AM - 5 PM
Overview:
We are seeking independent contractors to join our team for hot shot delivery services. This role will involve the timely pick-up and delivery of items ranging from 1 lb to10,000 lbs. While the primary focus will be on deliveries within the Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) metropolitan area, there will also be opportunities for deliveries to other regions throughout Texas and neighboring states.
Responsibilities:
- Safely transport a variety of items to designated locations.
- Maintain timely communication with our Dispatch team at pick-up and at delivery locations via Telegram Messenger.
-Obtain all Bill of Landings (BOL) at the pickup that require getting signed and turned in for payment.
- Make sure that all reference #'s match and have all piece count that job requires.
- Ensure that all items are secure and handled with care during transit.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations to guarantee safe driving practices.
Requirements:
- Must own or have access to a 26' box truck with liftgate and pallet jack
- Availability during normal working hours from 7 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday.
- Must have a valid driver’s license, valid insurance with min 500k combined single limit.
- DOT and MC#'s to travel beyond state lines.
- Previous experience in hot shot delivery or logistics is preferred but not necessary.
Compensation:
-Pay ranges from $1,500-$2,000 per week
-Paid weekly on Thursday
-Direct Deposit available after first month
