Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Pizza Maker to join our vibrant culinary team! Duties
- Prepare and assemble pizza doughs, sauces, toppings, and cheeses following established recipes and menu specifications
- Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, and slicing tools safely and efficiently during high-volume production periods
- Ensure all food handling and preparation practices comply with food safety sanitizing procedures and health regulations
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations and kitchen equipment through proper sanitizing procedures before, during, and after shifts
- Assist in menu planning by suggesting new pizza varieties or toppings based on customer preferences and current trends
- Monitor quality control throughout the food production process to ensure consistency and presentation standards are met
- Support the culinary team with additional food preparation tasks such as braising, poaching, grilling, or other cooking techniques as needed
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation within a restaurant or food industry setting, preferably with fine dining or high-volume production experience
- Strong knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitizing procedures
- Demonstrated knife skills and familiarity with operating various kitchen equipment safely
- Experience with recipe adherence, meal preparation, and catering is highly desirable
- Background in dietary department work or dietary aide experience is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent teamwork skills complemented by a passion for culinary excellence
