US Farathane is looking to hire a Senior Account Manager, this role will support out Tier customer Seat Plastic products. This role will sit on-site and support our Corporate Tech Center.
Summary:
The Senior Account Manager will serve as the primary relationship owner for an assigned account with responsibility for retention and growth. This role is responsible for handling Tier customer Seat Plastic products. Ensure clients derive maximum value from our services. Prepare implementation plans and lead client development; present content strategy and annual plan. Work closely with clients to identify needs including content approval workflows and consult on best practices for solutions and setup.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account concerns.
- Ensure timeliness in customer responses.
- Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales goals.
- Support accuracy, and timeliness of information to other groups.
- Deliver on account revenue goal with targeted business.
- Close out open commercial issues in an acceptable timeframe.
- Lead challenging customer issues to closure.
- Manage Sales Forecast Accuracy.
- Position and push key USF technologies.
- Ensure awareness of key new business opportunities.
- Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g., annual forecasts)
- Track new business opportunities via targeted growth matrix.
- Management of non-contractual give backs (if applicable).
- Facilitation of VA/VE ideas. Utilize Advanced Engineering within USF to generate new business.
- Ability to fully explain how top suppliers are measured.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
- Maintain a positive can-do attitude and entrepreneurial approach.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
- Above average technical knowledge to discuss product capabilities.
- Wide knowledge of customers, competitors, products and trends.
- Strong, polished presentation and negotiation skills.
- Full understanding of customer price points for key USF product as well as customer breakdowns.
- Complete comprehension of OEM manufacturing locations and assembly environments.
- A focus on relationships, able to gain trust through communication, expectation setting and completion of planned deliverables
- Business acumen, sound decision making, analytical and organizational skills in a fast paced environment; a consultative approach to managing complex client relationships
- Project and program management experience; knowledge of key concepts including phases, plans, deliverables, scope and tasks
- Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities, balancing client deliverables on multiple projects as well as internal obligations
- Passion about business and dissatisfaction with status quo – always thinking of ways to improve/grow assigned clients
