Job Description for Veterinary Technician Assistant at Hills and Dales Veterinary Clinic
The veterinary technician assistant candidate should be a reliable, mature individual who loves animals, has great communication skills (written and verbal), is computer literate, has a professional yet welcoming demeanor/appearance and a strong ability to multi-task. Two year college degree and previous customer service recommended; medical experience preferred.
Hours of Operation: M-TH 8-12 and 2-6; Fridays 8-12 and 2-5; Saturdays 8-12
Job Responsibilities
Greet and welcome clients and patients
Maintain inventory and restock supplies when necessary
Maintain a clean clinic which will include daily laundry, cleaning, mopping, sanitizing, etc.
Understand and practice safe animal handling
Proper and safe lifting of patients and supplies
Answer phones, schedule patients and filing of paperwork
Additional responsibilities as directed by veterinary on duty
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
