Essential Job Functions: Provide instruction in a variety of subject areasEngage in data-driven instruction and meaningful assessment practicesAdapt instruction and materials to meet the individual needs of studentsCollaborate and communicate with other team members in addressing the needs of the whole childUse technology to support and facilitate meaningful learning experiencesAll other duties as assignedCandidate Requirements: Massachusetts license in Special Education/Moderate Disabilities (grades 5-12) or eligibility for a waiverRelated experience (experience in an independent school environment preferred)Strong ability to incorporate technology into instructionExceptional written, interpersonal, and problem solving skillsAbility to handle a fast-paced environment with multiple demandsPassion for Riverviews mission and the field of special educationSuitable background check results (CORI, SORI, DCF) and fingerprinting required Current/valid drivers licenseCPR/AED/Standard First Aid certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of hireLegal authorization to work in the USCome join us and make a difference!
