The Facilities & Security Attendant is responsible for maintaining a visible onsite presence and supporting the safety, cleanliness, and operational readiness of the property including the parking ramp and event space. This role combines routine security monitoring with hands-on assistance for venue setup, teardown, cleaning, maintenance, guest arrival support, and property improvement projects.
This position is flexible scheduling with part-time and full-time positions available. Core working hours are between 8AM to 8PM for shifts. This position plays a key role in ensuring the property remains safe, welcoming, and event-ready for guests, clients, and vendors. The Facilities & Security Attendant reports to the General Manager and Director of Operations.
Key Responsibilities
Security & Property Monitoring
- Conduct a 15-minute property walkthrough every 60 minutes during scheduled shifts.
- Monitor parking ramp, building perimeter, entrances and exits, common areas, restrooms, event spaces, and active work areas.
- Identify and report safety concerns, maintenance issues, suspicious activity, or unauthorized access.
- Document incidents, observations, and completed walkthroughs.
- Ensure all public-facing areas remain clean, organized, and presentable.
- Serve as a visible onsite presence to promote a safe and welcoming environment for guests, vendors, and staff.
Guest & Parking Arrival Support
- Welcome guests, vendors, and clients upon arrival during event days.
- Assist with directing vehicles into designated parking areas and the parking ramp.
- Provide friendly guidance regarding venue entrances, event locations, accessibility
- accommodations, and general property information.
- Monitor parking flow to ensure safe and efficient traffic movement.
- Communicate with event staff regarding guest arrivals, vendor access, and parking concerns.
- Assist in maintaining a positive first impression of the venue through professional and courteous guest interactions.
Facilities & Venue Operations Support
During time between scheduled property walkthroughs, assist with:
- Venue setup and event preparation.
- Event teardown and equipment breakdown.
- General cleaning and facility upkeep.
- Routine maintenance projects.
- Groundskeeping and property appearance initiatives.
- Furniture movement and room resets.
- Inventory organization and storage management.
- Event-related operational support.
- Other operational duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in facilities, maintenance, security, hospitality, event operations preferred.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and situational awareness.
- Ability to remain professional and calm in fast-paced environments.
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance required.
Physical Requirements
- Frequent walking throughout the property.
- Standing for extended periods of time.
- Bending, lifting, carrying, and moving equipment and supplies up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to navigate stairs and uneven outdoor surfaces.
Schedule & Availability
- Full-time or part-time position with a flexible schedule based on operational and event needs.
- Typical shifts will occur between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM.
- Early Evening, weekend, holiday, and special event availability is required.
- Flexibility to adjust hours and support special events is essential.

Pay: $23.00 per hour
