Equipment Maintenance & Facilities Technician

We're looking for an Equipment & Facilities Maintenance Technician who enjoys solving problems, fixing things, and taking pride in keeping equipment and facilities in top condition.
This is not a job where you'll do the same thing every day. One day you may repair a farmhouse table, replace hardware on chairs, build warehouse shelving, troubleshoot a piece of equipment, repair a loading dock gate, or improve the organization of our shop. If something is broken—or could work better—we're looking for someone who takes ownership and finds a solution.

What You'll Do
- Inspect, repair, and maintain our rental inventory, including furniture, tables, chairs, staging, bars, décor, tents, and other event equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance to maximize the life and reliability of our rental inventory.
- Complete general maintenance throughout our warehouse, offices, shop, and facilities.
- Perform light carpentry projects, furniture repairs, and simple fabrication as needed.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and determine practical, cost-effective repair solutions.
- Build shelving, workstations, storage solutions, and other improvements that help our operation run more efficiently.
- Coordinate with the Operations team to prioritize repairs and keep inventory event-ready.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and the maintenance shop in a clean, organized, and safe condition.
- Identify opportunities to improve equipment durability, warehouse organization, safety, and overall efficiency.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who enjoys fixing things and takes ownership of their work.
Ideal candidates will have:
- Experience in equipment maintenance, facilities maintenance, construction, carpentry, mechanical repair, or a related hands-on trade.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience using common hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Basic carpentry skills, including repairing furniture and building simple structures.
- The ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
- A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and pride in producing quality work.
- A positive attitude and willingness to tackle something different every day.
Bonus Skills (Not Required)
- Welding or metal fabrication
- Basic plumbing or electrical repair
- Painting and finishing
- Small engine or equipment repair
- Forklift experience

Requirements:
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening
- Ability to safely lift and move 75 pounds of equipment as needed
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
