Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of cosmetology services including hair styling, hair extensions, makeup application, body waxing, and nail treatments
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in accordance with state regulations and salon policies.
- Provide excellent guest services by ensuring client satisfaction through effective communication and personalized care.
- Manage retail sales by promoting products during service appointments and conducting product demos.
- Engage in social media management to promote services and enhance the salon's online presence.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve salon goals while fostering a positive work environment.
- Upsell services and products based on client needs and preferences.
Experience
- A valid cosmetology license is required.
- Previous experience in a salon or med spa setting is preferred; familiarity with millennial trends in beauty is a plus.
- Proficiency in various techniques including straight razor cutting, hair threading, deep tissue massage, tattooing, and guest services is desirable.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with clients effectively.
