Woodland Fine Arts Academy is seeking a passionate, energetic, and Christ-centered Hip Hop Instructor to join our growing dance department for the 2026–2027 season.
We are looking for someone who not only brings strong technical training and creativity to the classroom, but who also values mentorship, professionalism, and encouraging students in a positive, faith-based environment.
Position Responsibilities
- Teach weekly Hip Hop classes for various ages and levels
- Create age-appropriate, engaging, and technically sound curriculum and choreography
- Foster a structured, encouraging, and respectful classroom environment
- Inspire confidence, discipline, teamwork, and creativity in students
- Collaborate with dance faculty and leadership team
- Participate in performances, showcases, rehearsals, and department events as needed
- Maintain professionalism and strong communication with students, families, and staff
- Represent the mission and values of the academy both in and outside the classroom
Qualifications
- Strong background and training in Hip Hop dance styles
- Previous teaching and choreography experience preferred
- Experience working with children and teens
- Positive, dependable, and professional attitude
- Ability to teach in a clean, age-appropriate, and family-friendly manner
- Alignment with and respect for the Christian values and mission of the academy
- Passion for investing in the next generation through the arts

Schedule & Availability
Part-time evening hours with potential for growth. Class placements and schedule will be based on experience, strengths, and academy needs.
