Location: Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)
Rate: Up to $60-$70/hr
We are seeking a Principal Mobile Engineer with deep expertise in iOS (Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, Combine) and working knowledge of Android (Kotlin) to lead the architecture, design, and development of enterprise-grade mobile applications. This is a hands-on technical leadership role (50% coding / 50% architecture & mentorship) focused on building scalable, secure, AI-enabled mobile solutions.
Required Skills:
- 10+ years of mobile development experience with 3+ years in a technical leadership role
- Expert in Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, Combine; Android/Kotlin knowledge required
- Strong experience in mobile architecture, system design, engineering standards, and performance optimization
- Experience with Firebase, Fastlane, Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD, REST APIs, OAuth2, Datadog, Google/Adobe Analytics
- Cloud-connected mobile architecture (Azure or AWS)
- AI-assisted development experience (GitHub Copilot, Claude, or similar) preferred
- Experience collaborating with Product, Design, and Engineering teams
- Consumer-facing mobile application experience required; FinTech/Payments experience preferred
Pay: $60.00 - $80.00 per hour
