IT Help Desk Technician
SaraPath Diagnostics is seeking a customer-focused IT Help Desk Technician to deliver fast, reliable technical support to end users in a healthcare/lab environment. You’ll serve as the first point of contact for troubleshooting systems, software, hardware, and network issues via phone, remote tools, and in-person support.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1/2 technical support for hardware, software, and network problems using remote desktop tools, phone, email, and on-site assistance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Microsoft 365, Windows 11, VPN, and collaboration tool issues for on-site and remote users.
- Support LAN connectivity, basic networking, printers (including label printers), barcode scanners, VOIP systems, and pathology laboratory information systems (LIS).
- Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and partners to resolve escalated issues.
- Participate in a 2-week on / 2-week off on-call rotation.
- Travel locally for client and remote user support.
Requirements
- 2+ years of IT support experience or a 2-year degree in a related field.
- Strong customer service and communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
- Solid troubleshooting skills in Windows environments, Microsoft 365, VPN/remote access, and hardware/peripherals.
- Critical thinking and eagerness to learn new technologies quickly in a fast-paced setting.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Maintain a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications
- CompTIA A+ certification (or equivalent).
- Basic experience with ticketing systems, Active Directory, and basic cloud tools.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices, such as phishing awareness and multi-factor authentication.
- VOIP and printer support experience.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
