Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Plumber Technician to join our dynamic construction and maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across various construction sites and commercial properties. Your expertise will ensure that plumbing systems operate efficiently, safely, and in compliance with all relevant codes and standards. Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute plumbing layouts accurately.
- Perform pipe threading, welding, and assembly tasks to connect pipes and fixtures securely.
- Conduct remodeling and remodeling projects involving plumbing components in commercial or residential settings.
- Assist with HVAC system components related to plumbing infrastructure when necessary.
- Operate heavy machinery and perform heavy lifting to handle large pipes or equipment safely on construction sites.
- Follow safety protocols on construction sites, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to safety regulations.
Experience
- Proven experience working on construction sites with a focus on plumbing installation and repair.
- Hands-on experience with construction plumbing systems, including pipe threading, schematics interpretation, and blueprint reading.
- Knowledge of welding techniques relevant to plumbing applications.
- Familiarity with HVAC systems as they relate to plumbing infrastructure is a plus.
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment efficiently and safely.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or ability to obtain one is preferred for site access or material transport purposes.
