Responsibilities
- Conduct oil changes, fluid replacements, and basic vehicle maintenance using hand tools and power tools efficiently and safely
- Perform tire services such as rotations, balancing, repairs, and replacements to optimize vehicle handling and safety
- Assist with wheel alignments to ensure proper vehicle steering and tire longevity
- Diagnose common automotive issues using basic automotive diagnostics tools and mechanical knowledge
- Support automotive repair tasks by assisting mechanics with mechanical repairs and inspections
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety standards at all times
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining services performed and recommending additional maintenance when appropriate
Requirements
- Previous dealership or service shop experience is highly preferred
- Hands-on mechanic experience with automotive diagnostics, fluid replacement, tire service, and general vehicle maintenance
- Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and repair procedures
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and automotive service equipment
- Ability to lift heavy tires or vehicle parts safely during service procedures
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude toward team collaboration
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to operate various vehicles safely
- Mechanical repair or service technician experience is a plus but not mandatory for entry-level candidates willing to learn
