We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and resident-focused Dietary Director to lead our Food & Nutrition Services Department. This leadership position is responsible for delivering exceptional dining experiences while ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations for skilled nursing facilities.

Responsibilities
- Direct all daily operations of the Dietary Department for our skilled nursing facility.
- Ensure meals are nutritious, appetizing, and served according to physician orders, therapeutic diets, and resident preferences.
- Maintain compliance with CMS, Ohio Department of Health, OSHA, and local health department regulations.
- Lead, hire, schedule, train, coach, and evaluate dietary staff.
- Partner with the Registered Dietitian, Nursing, Speech Therapy, and Administration to provide outstanding nutritional care.
- Manage department budgets, food purchasing, inventory, and vendor relationships.
- Oversee sanitation, infection control, food safety, and kitchen cleanliness.
- Prepare for state surveys and maintain survey readiness at all times.
- Monitor resident satisfaction and implement continuous quality improvement initiatives.
- Plan special meals, holidays, and facility events.
Qualifications
- Certified Dietary Manager (CDM, CFPP) preferred or eligibility to obtain certification.
- ServSafe Food Protection Manager certification preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of management experience in a healthcare, long-term care, rehabilitation, or skilled nursing setting.
- Strong understanding of CMS regulations, therapeutic diets, food safety, sanitation, and infection prevention.
- Experience with budgeting, staffing, scheduling, and inventory management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams.
