Position Overview:
Censys Technologies is seeking an experienced and proactive Aerospace Project Manager to lead cross-functional teams in the development, production, and deployment of cutting-edge Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS). This role involves managing complex projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with technical specifications, budget constraints, and timeline requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in aerospace project management, particularly within the drone industry, and possess excellent leadership and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Execution
- Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Lead cross-functional teams through the entire project lifecycle, from concept to delivery.
- Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, and supply chain teams to ensure project objectives are met.
- Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions as necessary to stay on track.
Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
- Facilitate regular communication and reporting to keep all parties informed of project status and developments.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment with project goals.
Risk Management and Compliance
- Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews to maintain quality and compliance throughout the project.
Continuous Improvement
- Analyze project outcomes to identify areas for improvement.
- Implement lessons learned in future project planning and execution.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the project team.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in project management, with a significant portion in the aerospace, defense, or technology sectors.
- Strong understanding of project management principles, methodologies (e.g., PMBOK), and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, MS Project).
- Expert proficiency in SCRUM and Agile methodologies. Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or similar Agile certification is highly desirable.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven experience managing complex hardware and software development projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrable experience in performing Earned Value Management (EVM) and analysis.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Experience with Department of Defense (DoD) projects and familiarity with military standards and regulations.
- Proficiency in risk management and quality assurance processes.
- Experience managing hardware and software projects highly preferred.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
