Bulk Repack Associate – 1st Shift
Location: Huntsville, AL
Pay: $18.00 per hour (Paid Weekly)
Shift: 1st Shift | Monday – Thursday, 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM (Overtime on Fridays as needed)
Job Summary
AtWork Personnel is seeking a dependable Bulk Repack Associate for a manufacturing facility in Huntsville, AL. This position is responsible for repacking bulk materials into trays or designated containers, operating a hoist to safely move materials, maintaining product quality, and supporting production operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and comfortable performing repetitive tasks while standing for extended periods.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Transfer materials from bulk containers into trays or designated packaging according to production specifications.
- Safely operate a hoist or lifting device to move materials and components.
- Inspect products for quality and remove damaged or defective items.
- Accurately weigh, count, and package materials as required.
- Label and prepare finished products for storage or shipment.
- Maintain production standards while ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of debris.
- Follow all company safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Assist with material handling and other production duties as assigned.
- Report equipment malfunctions, safety concerns, or quality issues to supervision promptly.
Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing, warehouse, or production experience preferred.
- Experience operating a hoist or other lifting equipment is preferred but not required.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and work on your feet for the entire shift.
- Ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to bend, stoop, squat, twist, reach, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
- Ability to safely operate a hoist and other material handling equipment.
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
