About the Role:
Crossroads At Delta Assisted Living Facility is looking for a passionate and experienced Dietary Director to lead our nutrition and food service program in Delta, CO. Responsibilities:
- Plan, develop, and oversee all dietary and nutrition programs for assisted living residents
- Create well-balanced, appealing menus that meet residents' nutritional needs and personal preferences
- Manage and supervise dietary staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling, and shift coverage as needed.
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility food safety and sanitation regulations
- Collaborate with nursing and care teams to accommodate special diets, allergies, and medical dietary requirements
- Monitor food inventory, manage ordering, and maintain budget controls for the dietary department
- Conduct regular assessments of resident satisfaction with meals and dining experience
Requirements:
- Degree or certification in Dietetics, Nutrition, Food Service Management, or a related field
- Previous experience in dietary management, preferably in a senior living or healthcare setting
- Knowledge of therapeutic diets, nutritional guidelines, and special dietary needs
- ServSafe certification or equivalent food safety credential
- Strong leadership and team management skills-References Required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate, resident-centered approach
- Ability to maintain regulatory compliance and pass health inspections
