American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) for a Rehab position in Fort Dodge, IA, requiring at least 1 year of PT experience with outpatient experience and Epic proficiency.

Primary setting is outpatient clinic (4 days/week), with 1 day per week in acute care inpatient setting
-
Acute care weekend shifts (1–2 during the contract) are optional but welcomed by the facility; weekend on-call hours are Saturday 7:00 AM–12:00 PM and Sunday 7:00 AM–11:00 AM

Acute weekend patients include ortho, neuro, and safety discharge cases only
-
Traveler may be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses

Day shift, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, 8 hours/day

Epic EMR; experience required

Orientation runs weekly, starting on Mondays

Minimum 1 year of PT experience required; work history must reflect at least 24 months of current PT experience

Outpatient PT experience required; inpatient experience preferred

Epic EMR experience required

Active Iowa PT license required; non-Iowa-licensed candidates will be considered if willing and able to apply for the Iowa license

Current AHA or ARC BLS certification required

Valid driver's license required

License required if applicable

At least one completed travel contract preferred

Active state license and certifications must be current at time of consideration

Traveler functions as part of an interdisciplinary team, contributing clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of patient care

Travelers who have been employed by the facility within the past 12 months may not be eligible for this position

Candidates must have a taxable address more than 60 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible

Travelers are required to work 1–2 of 3 summer holidays: Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day

A supervisory performance evaluation or reference from within the past 2 years is preferred for consideration
