Job Overview
Patriot Pipeline is seeking a Mid-Level Estimator with experience in Trimble ProContractor to prepare accurate estimates for underground utility projects, including water, sanitary sewer, storm drainage, and dry utilities throughout the Atlanta Metro area. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple bids while working collaboratively with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and project teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare quantity takeoffs, cost estimates, and bid proposals using Trimble ProContractor.
- Review civil plans, specifications, and contract documents.
- Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotes.
- Identify project risks and value engineering opportunities.
- Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits as needed.
- Coordinate with clients, GCs, vendors, and project teams.
- Maintain estimating databases and manage multiple bids.
- Support project handoff after contract award.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of estimating experience in underground utilities or heavy civil construction.
- Proficiency with Trimble ProContractor, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to read and interpret civil plans and specifications.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Valid driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with commercial, municipal, county, DOT, or private development utility projects.
- Experience with Bluebeam Revu, HCSS HeavyBid, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), and Autodesk Takeoff.
- Knowledge of local utility standards, permitting, and underground construction methods.
Pay: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
