Daycare Assistant Teacher
Needs & Qualifications:
Monday - Friday:
Full time 8:30am to 5:30 pm
flexibility and negotiation of schedule can be discussed
Prior experience in a preschool, daycare center, or family daycare program and/or 6 -12 E.C.E. units is preferred but not required.
Able to perform all tasks having to do with the daily needs of all the children in our care (i.e. diaper changes, toilet training, meal prep & serving, activity prep, cleaning & disinfecting of toys, materials, and environment), & most importantly, supervising play and engaging with all the children in our care to support their early childhood learning & growth.
Dependable, punctual, & hardworking, & posesses a positive attitude and work ethic.
Most importantly demonstrate a genuine love and desire to work with children and display knowledge and understanding of the developmental ages & stages of children 0-5yrs.
Licensing requirements to work in childcare:
Livescan Background Clearance (info will be provided on how to get this done if one is not already on file with State Licensing.)
TB Test
Measles/Whooping Cough Vaccinations
Current Pediatric First aid & CPR Certification (or completion soon after employment)
