We are seeking a meticulous Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our clients are served with the highest quality of care standards and that our employees will exceed in their job duties caring for our individuals.
Responsibilities
Maintains a thorough knowledge of Quality Assurance policies and procedures, Responsibilities and Duties; Quality Improvement processes/protocols, and updates to OPWDD regulations.
- Coordinates and conducts trainings/in-services and orientations to staff. Along with the Corporate Compliance Officer duties, participate in corporate compliance in services for administrators, staff, vendors, clinicians, and parents.
- Performs daily examinations of program functions, and system basis and provides systematic follow-up.
- Responsible for maintaining appropriate documents, records, statistics, reports, evaluations, and etc
- Investigate all incidents for the program and follow up with the appropriate filing for all incidents
- Upload investigations into OPWDD, IRMA, and WSIR websites.
- Arrange and participate in meetings for the Incident Review Committee.
- Arrange all required training and in-services for staff in Incident Reporting, protocols, and updates.
- Serves as a liaison between program directors, parents, staff, and community agencies.
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Skills
- Qualified applicants will be required to submit a sample internal investigation which will demonstrate knowledge of step-by-step process, and conclusion.
- Bachelor's degree required, in Human Services, Social Work, Psychology or related field.
Preferred Experience
- Two years of administrative and QA/training duties, with at least two years working with developmentally/physically/mentally disabled population.
- Excellent computer and typing skills
- Demonstrated competency in written, verbal and computational skills to present documents in accordance with program standards.
