Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable, professional Delivery Driver to handle our weekly Northern Virginia delivery route every Wednesday. You will drive our company-provided refrigerated van to deliver orders directly to our retail and wholesale customers, serving as the primary face of our business on the road. Depending on the specific route and delivery stops for the week, departure times can be as early as 3:30 AM. The vehicle will be loaded, temperature-checked, and ready to roll for you as soon as you arrive on Wednesday morning!
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys early morning shifts and is looking for a consistent, well-paying, part-time role one day a week.
Key Responsibilities
Route Execution: Safely operate a pre-loaded, company-provided refrigerated van along a scheduled Northern Virginia delivery route every Wednesday.
Delivery & Unloading: Transport orders safely and unload products at customer locations using hand trucks/dollies provided.
Customer Interaction: Communicate warmly, clearly, and professionally with retail and wholesale customers during delivery stops.
Temperature & Quality Control: Ensure the van’s refrigeration unit remains set to proper temperatures throughout the day to preserve product freshness.
Order & Vehicle Care: Maintain accurate delivery receipts/logs and keep the company vehicle clean and in excellent order.
Qualifications & Requirements
Drug Screening: Must pass a pre-employment drug test and be willing to participate in random drug testing as a condition of employment.
Schedule Flexibility: Must be comfortable and reliable with early morning starts (departures as early as 3:30 AM).
Driving Record: Must have a valid driver’s license (standard/Non-CDL) and a clean motor vehicle record (MVR).
Age Requirement: Must be at least 21 years old for company vehicle insurance coverage.
Physical Capability: Must be able to routinely lift, carry, and unload boxes/coolers weighing up to 75 lbs throughout the delivery route.
Availability: Must be reliable, punctual, and fully available for a full 10 to 12-hour shift every Wednesday.
Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills with a customer-first attitude.
Background Check: Must pass a standard background check and driving record check.
