Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Large Format Print Operator to join our production team. This role is responsible for operating and maintaining large-format printing equipment while ensuring exceptional print quality, color accuracy, and on-time production. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in craftsmanship, and has experience working with a variety of print materials and substrates.
Responsibilities
Operate large-format printers and related production equipment
Review work orders and job specifications to ensure accurate production
Prepare files for output through RIP software and production workflows
Load and handle roll and rigid media safely and efficiently
Monitor print quality, color consistency, and registration throughout production runs
Perform daily equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
Conduct quality control checks before jobs move to finishing
Manage multiple jobs simultaneously while meeting production deadlines
Coordinate with prepress and finishing teams to maintain workflow efficiency
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production environment
Track material usage and communicate inventory needs to management
Qualifications
At least 7 years of experience operating large-format printers in a production environment
Familiarity with RIP software and digital print workflows
Strong understanding of color management and print quality standards
Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to lift and move large rolls of media and finished materials
Comfortable standing for extended periodsPreferred Experience
Experience with UV, latex, solvent, or aqueous print systems
Familiarity with flatbed and roll-to-roll printing equipment
Experience with cutting, laminating, or finishing equipment
Pay: $25.93 - $36.02 per hour
