We are currently hiring for Production and General Labor positions with a manufacturing company in the Marlette, MI area. These roles support multiple areas of the production process, including fiberglass manufacturing, assembly, packaging, inspection, and machine-assisted production. Candidates must be dependable, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Shift Information:
- 1st Shift: Monday–Thursday 7:00AM–4:30PM, Friday 7:00AM–3:30PM, with occasional Saturdays
- 2nd Shift: Training completed on 1st shift before moving to off-shift schedule
- Employees should expect overtime and a minimum of 44 hours per week
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare molds and materials for production
- Perform fiberglass layup, trimming, and finishing duties
- Assemble parts and components according to specifications
- Count, bag, label, and package finished products
- Operate automated and manual packaging equipment
- Complete quality inspections on finished products
- Maintain accurate production and inventory records
- Enter packaging and labeling information into equipment systems
- Follow all safety and production procedures
- Keep work areas clean and organized
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
- Comfortable bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching regularly
- Comfortable working with fiberglass materials
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
- Manufacturing, production, assembly, or packing experience is a plus, but not always required
