​Responsible for overseeing day to day patient care, supervising, directing and developing nurse staff to ensure quality patient care within skilled nursing facility.

Utilizing expertise in the leadership role as a manager of an assigned unit

Collaborating with the Director of Nursing in maintaining adequate Nursing coverage to provide safe Nursing care for 24 hours a day, 7 days a week

Developing, implementing and evaluating protocols/standards of assigned unit while following the proper approval channels

Assessing the work performance of Nursing personnel

Assuming Nursing administrative responsibilities of the Center for weekend and holiday coverage as requested

New York RN license
-
Up-to-date physical assessment skills

Comprehensive knowledge of nursing principles
-
1+ year experience in leadership (i.e., Head Nurse, Supervisor, Unit Manger etc.)
-
CPR certification
