SAT, ACT, AP Tutor- True Education
Job Description:
True Education is inviting all dedicated and experienced private tutors to join our team and assist students in achieving success in the ACT and SAT exams.
Position Overview:
As a tutor for True Education, you will play a pivotal role in helping students K-12 excel in their ACT, SAT, AP examinations. You will work closely with individual students to provide personalized tutoring sessions, focusing on enhancing their test-taking skills, understanding of subject matter, and overall academic confidence.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct tutoring sessions for students preparing for the ACT, Digital SAT, AP exams.
- Assess the individual learning needs of each student and apply accordingly
- Cover key concepts, strategies, and test-taking techniques relevant to the school work or exams.
- Provide constructive feedback and guidance to students, fostering a positive and motivating learning environment.
- Monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods as needed to ensure optimal results.
- Stay updated on the latest changes and developments in education specifically in testing.
- Communicate effectively with center director regarding student progress and performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Education, Mathematics, English, etc.).
- Proven experience as a tutor for ACT and SAT exams.
- Strong knowledge of the content and format of the ACT and DSAT.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, adaptability, and a genuine passion for helping students succeed.
