Position Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic, polished, and customer-focused Bakery Associates who have a strong knowledge of baked goods and a talent for sales. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys connecting with guests, and takes pride in delivering an elevated service experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet every guest with warmth and professionalism
- Provide exceptional customer service and create a welcoming atmosphere
- Demonstrate knowledge of fresh breads, pastries, cakes, and pies
- Recommend items and confidently upsell bakery products
- Maintain attractive and organized displays
- Handle transactions accurately and efficiently
- Keep the bakery clean, stocked, and presentation-ready at all times
- Work collaboratively with the team to ensure a smooth daily operation
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a bakery, café, retail, or food service environment preferred
- Strong knowledge of baked goods (breads, pastries, cakes, pies)
- Proven ability to sell and upsell products
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Availability for mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed
