Overview
Real Dog Studio is building an interconnected universe of characters, stories, products, education, and online experiments around Real Dog and Feed Real Institute.
We are looking for Digital Character Creators to help bring that universe to life.
A Digital Character Creator may perform, voice, write, edit, post, or help produce one specific character inside the Real Dog Studio universe. Some characters may appear on camera. Some may only exist through voice, comments, DMs, stitched videos, animated formats, edited footage, or scripted social accounts.
This is not a personal brand role. You are not being hired to “be yourself online.” You are helping create, perform, and launch a character that belongs inside the Real Dog Studio universe.
Each character is a project. Some may be short experiments. Some may grow into recurring characters, micro-series, product campaigns, educational stories, event characters, comics, books, courses, merchandise, ads, or other media formats.
What We’re Building
Real Dog Studio is not making random social media content. We are building an IP universe.
Characters may come from Real Dog and Feed Real Institute product playbooks, buyer personas, customer archetypes, cultural ideas, dog-world problems, neighborhood stories, absurd comedy, education, or product truths.
Each character should feel like they live in the same world, even if each one has its own voice, behavior, conflict, and purpose.
Think:
- internet-native characters
- neighborhood legends
- dog-world personalities
- product education disguised as story
- short-form character experiments
- recurring micro-series
- social accounts that feel alive
- characters that can move across platforms and formats
The goal is not just views. The goal is to create characters people notice, talk about, follow, argue with, root for, and remember.
What You’ll Do
Depending on the project, you may help with:
- Performing as a character on camera
- Voicing a character
- Writing in character
- Creating character posts, replies, DMs, captions, or comments
- Editing short-form videos
- Shooting simple vertical content
- Helping develop the character’s voice, habits, beliefs, and emotional logic
- Responding to audience comments in character
- Helping create 5-7 episode character experiments
- Testing hooks, formats, and story angles
- Working with the Character Launch Producer or Real Dog Studio team
- Keeping the character consistent with the larger Real Dog Studio universe
Character Ownership / IP
All characters created for Real Dog Studio projects are part of the Real Dog Studio universe.
The character is not the creator’s personal brand.
The creator is helping perform, develop, and launch a studio-owned character for a specific project.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Real Dog Studio owns the character and related creative materials, including:
- character names
- concepts
- scripts
- storylines
- account concepts
- captions
- comments
- footage
- edits
- visuals
- formats
- launch plans
- recurring jokes
- lore
- world rules
- related project materials
Real Dog Studio may use, edit, expand, adapt, remix, publish, advertise, commercialize, merchandise, or continue these characters across any platform, product, event, campaign, or media format.
Creators may receive credit when appropriate, but the character and universe belong to Real Dog Studio.
All creators, performers, editors, and collaborators must agree to project ownership, usage rights, and release terms before production begins.
What This Role Is Not
This is not a normal influencer deal.
This is not:
- a personal brand sponsorship
- a one-off UGC ad
- a standard content creator gig
- a social media manager role
- a trend-copying role
- a “just make posts” role
This is character work. You are helping build someone who can live inside a fictional, educational, comedic, or product-linked universe.
You may be a good fit if you:
- understand TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and internet behavior
- can act, improvise, write, edit, or think in character
- understand how comments become part of the content
- can play a role without needing it to become your personal brand
- are comfortable with weird, funny, sincere, or experimental ideas
- can follow character rules and brand boundaries
- can take direction
- can move quickly
- can help test ideas without overthinking them
- understand that some characters will fail, and that is part of the process
Helpful, but not required:
- Acting or improv experience
- Comedy writing
- Voice acting
- Short-form editing
- Meme/account culture experience
- Experience running anonymous or character-based accounts
- Experience with pets, dogs, wellness, food, education, or creator-led brands
- Ability to shoot clean vertical video from home
- Ability to work in both English and Turkish, if relevant
First Project
The first project will likely be a small paid pilot. You may be asked to help bring one character to life through:
- Character voice test
- Short intro video or post
- 3-5 sample captions/comments
- One 5-7 episode content arc
- A simple character behavior guide
- Test posts or videos
- Feedback after launch
If the character works, the project may continue into more episodes, more formats, or a larger role inside the Real Dog Studio universe.
Compensation
Project-based pay. Strong projects may qualify for:
- repeat work
- performance bonuses
- larger character packages
- long-term studio collaboration
- expanded creative responsibility
- recurring character work
