We are seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented, and proactive Case Manager / Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will work closely with attorneys and clients to facilitate communication, manage case progression, and provide legal and administrative support throughout the personal injury and auto accident case process.

Responsibilities
- Manage personal injury cases from intake through settlement
- Maintain consistent communication with clients, medical providers, insurance adjusters, and other parties involved in the case.
- Collaborate with attorneys on case strategy, litigation support, and settlement negotiations.
- Monitor and manage case progression to ensure deadlines and milestones are met.
- Gather, review, summarize, and organize medical records, bills, and supporting documentation.
- Prepare and send Letters of Representation (LORs), Letters of Protection (LOPs), health insurance notices, and other legal correspondence.
- Draft routine legal documents, pleadings, discovery responses, settlement demands, affidavits, and other case-related documents for attorney review.
- Assist attorneys with pre-litigation and litigation matters, including discovery, case preparation, and trial support.
- Coordinate the release of medical records and information to insurance companies, attorneys, healthcare providers, and government agencies.
- Maintain accurate and organized electronic and physical case files, ensuring all documents are properly uploaded and tracked in the case management system.
- Calendar deadlines, court dates, hearings, depositions, mediations, and appointments.
- Assist with preparing settlement packages and reviewing settlement documents.
- Provide executive and administrative support to attorneys, including scheduling appointments and managing client communications.
- Contact healthcare providers, facilities, and lienholders to negotiate reductions.
- Collaborate with departments, teams, vendors, and attorneys to ensure efficient case handling.
Qualifications
- Bilingual in Spanish (Preferred)
- Paralegal certificate is a plus but not required.
- Previous experience as a Case Manager, Paralegal, or in a similar legal support role.
- Strong understanding of personal injury case management, medical treatment, and reductions processes.
- Familiarity with pre-litigation and litigation procedures.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously.
- Proficient in data entry, document management, and maintaining organized case files.
- Strong communication and client service skills.
- Ability to think critically, solve problems proactively, and work independently.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
