Lor-Ron Optical is seeking a professional optician for our Wyomissing location. The ideal candidate would be able to assist patients with selecting eyewear, adjusting the fit of eyeglasses, able to use our Electronic Health Records system and be able to understand and explain vision insurance plans. Our office offers a steady schedule and friendly work environment. Lor-Ron optical is part of Eye Consultants of Pennsylvania.
Responsibilities would include:
- Assisting patients with selecting eyeglass frames as a stylist
- Understanding and explaining vision insurance plans
- Use of an EHR (health records) computer system
- Understand and explain different eyeglass lens types and options
- Dispensing contact lenses to patients
- Understand the basics of vision insurance plans
- Ordering contacts for patients and accessories for the office
This position is full time:
Mon 9-8:30Tues 9-8:30 Weds 9-5 Thursday 9-8:30 Fri 9-5
Experience preferred but able to train a willing candidate.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
