We're seeking a hands-on Electronics Repair Technician who enjoys troubleshooting, repairing, and restoring a wide variety of electronics. Every day you'll work on something different—from computers and servers to medical equipment, networking hardware, industrial electronics, and much more.
No two days are the same.
What You'll Do
As an Electronics Repair Technician, you'll diagnose, repair, refurbish, and prepare surplus electronics for resale through online marketplaces including eBay, GovDeals, HiBid, and other resale channels.
Responsibilities include:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electronic equipment
- Repair electronic components and assemblies
- Test equipment to verify functionality
- Perform basic soldering and component replacement as needed
- Research technical specifications and repair procedures
- Source replacement parts and repair solutions
- Document repairs using inventory software
- Restore equipment for resale
- Collaborate with Asset Recovery and Sales teams
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area
- Follow all PPE and safety requirements

Qualifications Required
- Hands-on experience with electronics repair and troubleshooting
- Understanding of electronic circuits and components
- Ability to diagnose electrical and electronic failures
- Computer proficiency
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Good written and verbal communication
- Ability to research technical information and repair procedures
Preferred
- Associate's Degree in Electronics or equivalent hands-on experience
- High-voltage troubleshooting experience
- Small engine repair experience
- Electric motor repair experience
- Soldering experience
- Experience using multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, or other diagnostic equipment
- Forklift, Reach Truck, or Electric Pallet Jack experience
