Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Logistics Coordinator / Carrier Sales Representative to support one of our largest and fastest-growing strategic accounts.
This role will focus heavily on:
- carrier sourcing
- dispatching
- operational execution
- shipment tracking
- building carrier relationships
- supporting high-volume customer freight
The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, calm under pressure, and able to communicate effectively in a fast-moving logistics environment.
Responsibilities
- Source and secure carrier capacity for daily freight
- Build and maintain carrier relationships
- Dispatch and manage shipments from pickup through delivery
- Track and proactively update loads
- Work closely with Account Managers on customer priorities
- Assist with solving service issues and operational challenges
- Communicate with carriers, customers, and internal teams
- Support strategic enterprise accounts during high-volume periods
- Help improve coverage on difficult lanes and freight markets
Qualifications
- Transportation or logistics experience preferred
- Carrier sales or dispatching experience strongly preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Problem-solving mindset
- Ability to work under pressure
- Team-oriented with strong accountability
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
