Job Overview

Responsibilities
- Greet guests with a friendly and positive attitude, making them feel immediately welcomed
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently using POS system.
- Support Waiter Staff in bussing tables to ensure tables are clean and ready to be seated.
- Answer phone inquiries with professionalism, providing accurate information and assistance.
- Take Online orders, Package them, and hand them to guests.
- Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth flow of service and timely seating
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host station and waiting area
- Assist guests with special requests or accommodations, ensuring their needs are met promptly
- Support guest relations by addressing concerns courteously and escalating issues when necessary
Experience
- Previous host/hostess experience in a food service or restaurant setting preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively
- Familiarity with restaurant POS systems.
- Experience in hotel or hospitality environments enhances guest interaction skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a positive attitude
- Excellent phone etiquette and guest relations skills are essential for success in this role
