Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a Weekday Production Operator working from 3 PM to 11 PM! Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor various industrial equipment including press brake machines, CNC lathes, and robotic systems to produce high-quality plastics components.
- Conduct quality inspections using precision measurement instruments and dimensional measurement techniques to ensure products meet specifications.
- Handle materials safely using hand tools, forklifts, and materials handling equipment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and assist with engineering troubleshooting to minimize downtime and optimize machine performance.
- Perform setup, calibration, and routine maintenance on machinery such as plastics blow molding, injection molding, extrusion equipment, and CNC machines.
- Use programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for machine operation control and troubleshooting.
- Maintain accurate documentation of production activities, measurements, and quality checks to support continuous improvement efforts.
Qualifications
- Proven experience with plastics production processes including injection molding, extrusion, or blow molding is highly preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in machining, CNC operations, and industrial equipment troubleshooting.
- Ability to perform precision measurements using measurement (quality control) tools and instruments.
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and quality assessments.
- Experience with safety protocol adherence in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of hand tools, robotic systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and materials handling is a plus.
- Prior use of CNC lathes or press brake machines will be advantageous.
