JOB FLAGGER $25.62 per hour.The part-time flagger position is responsible for supporting line and tree trimming crews by providing safe and efficient traffic control at or near job sites. EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
- Responsible for the safety, direction and control of vehicle and pedestrian traffic at or near District job sites.

Provide clear and positive guidance to drivers and co-workers through use of traffic control equipment.

Must perform duties in an alert manner while keeping traffic moving, ensuring the safety of motorists, crews and themselves.

Communicate specific instructions verbally to team members by radio in accordance with operating practices.
- Must perform duties in a courteous and respectful manner, even when dealing with agitated drivers.

Attend three of the four flagger safety meetings per year to be eligible in the flagging pool.
SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION
- Must be 18 year of age or over.

Must possess a valid Washington State Driver's License and have reliable transportation.

Must have a Washington State Flagger's Certification and hold a current First Aid Card with CPR.
