Position Overview:
We are seeking compassionate and reliable Home Health Aides/Caregivers to assist our clients on a PRN (as-needed) basis. This flexible role allows you to work on your own schedule while providing high-quality care that helps clients maintain their independence in the comfort of their homes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Help with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and grocery shopping
- Assist clients with mobility, including transfers, walking, and exercise routines
- Monitor clients' health, including taking vital signs and reporting any changes in condition
- Accompany clients to medical appointments or run errands as needed
- Adhere to clients' individualized care plans and document services provided
- Ensure clients' homes remain a safe environment by following care standards and practices
- Maintain open and effective communication with clients, families, and the Perma Homecare team
Requirements:
- 75-hour HHA certification, CNA, or STNA certification required
- Proven experience working as a Home Health Aide or in a similar caregiving role
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
- Basic knowledge of housekeeping and meal preparation
- Ability to follow care plans and adjust to clients' changing needs
