Kiddie Academy of Herriman has an exciting opportunity for an energetic, creative and organized person to join us as our full time Food Service Manager. You’ll be a valued member of a passionate team of childcare professionals who make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families in our community every day. And you’ll do it in an environment with enhanced health and safety protocols.
What will you do?
As a Food Services Manager, you will be:
- At home in the kitchen! Create home-style, nutritional meal plans in the boundaries of their school's menu and budget, as well as state and federal requirements. Prepare meals/snacks for children and staff and distribute food to the classrooms.
- Focused on health and safety! Follow the daily menu provided by the Director which incorporates USDA, licensing, and/or health department regulations.
- Organized! Maintain inventory of food and supplies and order more when needed.
- Helpful! Assist in classrooms as needed as an Assistant Teacher/Floater.

What will you earn?
- Hourly pay ranges between $16-$20/hour based on your education and experience.

What must you have?
Desirable attributes:
- 1+ years of food service manager/chef experience in a large childcare setting
- Certificate in first aid and CPR (including pediatric)
Required Attributes:
- High School diploma or GED
- Ability to pass a background check
- Food Handler's Permit
- Completion of pre-employment assessments
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36.0 – 40.0 per week
