Regalis is a specialty foods importer and distributor located in Brooklyn. We specialize in truffles, wagyu, caviar, uni, and more.
We are seeking an experienced driver to make deliveries to our restaurant clients. Your day will start with early morning pickups from our suppliers, then you'll pull orders and meet with your fellow delivery, sales, and overnight teams to review your route before heading out on the road to drop off product to some of the world's best kitchens. This position follows a Monday–Friday schedule with a 4:00 AM start time.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a safe driving record (required for insurance purposes)
- Trustworthy and willing to learn
- Personable and enjoy face time with customers
- Ability to lift heavy boxes (50 lbs+)
- Kitchen experience and an appreciation of specialty foods is a plus
Core Duties
- Complete early morning product pickups from suppliers before daily route begins
- Pull and pack products for daily delivery orders, ensuring product integrity is maintained
- Make daily customer deliveries
- Make additional product pickups from vendors as needed throughout the day
- Communicate with Sales and Operations team on any order and delivery concerns
- Obey all traffic laws
- Monitor vehicle maintenance and cleanliness and take action when needed
- Deliver efficient and friendly service
- Follow all food safety guidelines and protocols
- Assist with other warehouse, receiving, and inventory tasks as needed
- Maintain a professional demeanor and productive relationships with co-workers across all levels of the company
- Adhere to all Regalis policies and procedures
