About the Position
Unity Bulldogs Pet Grooming is looking for motivated, hardworking individuals who are passionate about dogs and interested in building a long-term career in the pet grooming industry.
This is a paid apprenticeship program where you’ll receive hands-on training to become a professional Pet Stylist (Dog Groomer). No previous grooming experience is required—we’ll teach you everything from safely handling and bathing dogs to professional grooming techniques.

Responsibilities
- Bathe and dry dogs according to Unity Bulldogs’ grooming standards.
- Brush, de-shed, trim nails, clean ears, and prepare dogs for grooming.
- Learn professional grooming techniques through hands-on training.
- Safely handle dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, and temperaments.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized workstation.
- Assist the grooming team in delivering an exceptional client experience.
- Follow all salon safety procedures and animal handling protocols.
- Continue developing your skills toward becoming a professional Pet Stylist.
Qualifications
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (Required).
- Must be comfortable working with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments.
- No previous grooming experience required—we provide paid training.
- Passion for working with dogs and learning a skilled trade.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Ability to safely lift and handle dogs up to 50 lbs.
