Job Summary
Midwest Staffing is hiring dependable General Labor and Production Associates for multiple manufacturing and warehouse clients around the Shakopee area. Whether you're looking to gain experience or take the next step in your manufacturing career, we have a variety of openings with immediate starts available.
Responsibilities
- Assemble, inspect, and package products
- Operate production equipment and machinery (training provided for many positions)
- Load and unload materials
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment
- Perform quality inspections
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Lift, move, and stack materials (up to 50 lbs. depending on the position)
- Follow safety procedures and production standards
Skills
- Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience is helpful but not required for some positions
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to stand for an entire shift
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs., depending on the position
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Forklift experience is a plus for select roles
- Mechanical aptitude is a plus
- English communication skills required for many positions
