Ambulatory Plastic Surgery Center, Inc. and Columbus Plastic Surgery, PC in Columbus, Georgia are seeking a full-time Registered Nurse to support perioperative services and our medical wellness program. This role includes pre-op, PACU, circulating, and wellness-based nursing support in a refined outpatient setting.
The ideal candidate is experienced in outpatient surgical nursing, highly professional, and committed to excellent patient care. This position combines surgery-day responsibilities with ongoing support for wellness services, including bioidentical hormone replacement, peptides, and medical weight loss management.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care in pre-op, PACU, and circulating roles within an ambulatory plastic surgery setting.
- Complete patient assessments, review histories, verify consents, and prepare patients for surgery.
- Monitor patients in recovery and communicate clearly with providers, patients, and families.
- Support physician-directed wellness services, including patient education, follow-up, injections, and documentation.
- Maintain patient safety, confidentiality, and compliance with clinical standards.
Qualifications
- Current Georgia RN license or multistate compact RN license.
- BLS and ACLS certification required.
- Experience in ambulatory surgery, perioperative nursing, PACU, pre-op, or OR circulation preferred.
- Experience in plastic surgery, aesthetics, or medical wellness is a plus.
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and documentation skills.
- Schedule & Work Environment
Full-time position in Columbus, Georgia. The RN will support scheduled surgical cases and clinic-based wellness services in a professional, patient-centered environment.
