Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor/Floating to join our team. In this role, you will serve as the vital link between customers and our service technicians, ensuring a seamless experience from vehicle intake to completion. This position offers flexibility to support multiple locations and provides an exciting opportunity to develop your automotive knowledge and sales skills in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Maust be willing to travel
- Greet customers warmly and listen carefully to understand their vehicle concerns and service needs
- Prepare detailed auto estimates using automotive diagnostics and repair knowledge
- Communicate repairs and services clearly, including upselling additional services such as oil changes, brake repairs, alignments, or tire services
- Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs and ensure timely completion of services
- Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain detailed service writing records
- Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and promote repeat business
- Maintain a thorough understanding of automotive repair procedures including transmissions, suspensions, diesel engines, shocks & struts, air brakes, and auto body repairs
Qualifications
- Proven dealership or automotive service management experience with a strong background in auto service sales and customer service
- Familiarity with automotive diagnostics, mechanical knowledge, and vehicle maintenance procedures
- Experience in auto estimating, service writing, and upselling additional repairs or maintenance services
- Knowledge of various automotive systems such as transmissions, oil changes, alignments, suspension, tire services, brake repairs, diesel engines, shocks & struts, air brakes, and auto body work
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while providing excellent customer interactions
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical issues clearly to customers
- Previous experience working with mechanics or in automotive repair environments is highly desirable

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
