We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant Teacher to join our early childhood education team. Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, loving care to infants, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being at all times
- Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promote sensory exploration, motor skills, language development, and social interaction
- Monitor and document each child's developmental progress, adjusting activities to meet individual needs
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment that encourages curiosity and independence
- Follow all health and safety protocols, including pediatric first aid and mandated reporting laws
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate daily updates on their child's milestones and needs
- Support classroom management by establishing routines that foster positive behavior and emotional security
Requirements
- Prior experience working with infants or in early childhood education settings such as daycare or preschool is highly preferred
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and child development instruction techniques. Must be comfortable with a Christian based curriculum
- Certification in first aid and pediatric first aid is required
- Background Check Clearance
- Familiarity with classroom management strategies, behavior management, and caregiving best practices
- Strong communication skills to engage with children, parents, colleagues, and caregivers effectively
- Commitment to adhering to all safety regulations, including mandated reporting laws and health protocols
