American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Cardiovascular Interventional Lab (Cath/EP) position requiring ICU and Cath/EP Lab experience along with an MD or compact RN license.

Work in the Cardiovascular Diagnostic and Interventional Laboratory (CVDL) at a major hospital, encompassing Cath and EP labs
-
Unit operates eleven procedure rooms for diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures
-
Patient population includes cases involving coronary artery disease, valvular heart disease, cardiomyopathy, pericardial disease, peripheral artery disease, adult congenital heart disease, and aortic disease

13-week assignment
-
Schedule consists of four 10-hour shifts per week (Monday-Friday) with alternating/staggered start times (6:30 AM-5 PM, 7 AM-5:30 PM, 8 AM-6:30 PM, or 9 AM-7:30 PM)

No block scheduling or set schedule; rotating days off

On-call required for weekdays, weekends, and holidays, with a minimum of 7-10 on-call days every 6 weeks

Required 30-minute response time for on-call shifts

EPIC CUPID EMR experience preferred

Active RN license (MD or Compact) currently in hand

Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

Minimum 2 years of RN experience in a Cardiac or Surgical ICU
-
Required experience in Cardiovascular Interventional Lab (CVIL), including Cath and/or EP lab experience

Moderate sedation experience required

Critical Care Certification preferred

Trauma course completion preferred

Experience at a comparable facility size (500+ bed count) required

Provide nursing care across eleven procedure rooms supporting diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular services

Orientation occurs on the 2nd and 4th Monday of the month

Local candidates are accepted at the same pay rate
