Toledo Country Club, a prestigious private member club established in 1897, is looking for a skilled and dependable Line Cook to join our culinary team. At TCC, our culinary team serves a loyal and discerning membership across a variety of dining experiences — from casual patio nights and pub service to elevated member dining and large-scale private events. You'll work alongside a talented team in a kitchen that values consistency, professionalism, and genuine hospitality.
What You'll Do
- Execute menu items to specification during service with speed and consistency
- Assist with daily prep work including breaking down proteins, fabricating vegetables, and preparing sauces, stocks, and mise en place
- Maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked station at all times
- Follow all food safety and sanitation standards
- Communicate effectively with the expo and front of house team during service
- Adapt to varying volume — from intimate member dining to full-scale banquet and event service
- Support the kitchen team wherever needed with a positive, team-first attitude
What We're Looking For
- 1+ years of line cook or kitchen experience preferred
- Solid knife skills and foundational cooking techniques
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality
- Reliable, punctual, and takes direction well
- ServSafe certification or willingness to obtain
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays during peak season
