- Assist with excavation activities, including site clearing, grading, and trenching using hand tools and heavy equipment under supervision
- Support concrete mixing, pouring, finishing, and curing processes to ensure high-quality results
- Help install rebar (reinforcing steel) according to project specifications and blueprints
- Learn to operate power tools and small machinery safely for tasks such as form setting and material handling
- Read and interpret construction schematics, blueprints, and schematics to understand project requirements
- Participate in masonry tasks such as stucco application, tile laying, or stonework as needed
- Support carpentry tasks including framing, trim carpentry, or metal stud framing during renovation projects
- Assist with site cleanup, material organization, and safety inspections to maintain a secure work environment
Qualifications
- Basic mechanical knowledge or familiarity with hand tools and power tools preferred
- Strong interest in construction trades with a willingness to learn new skills
- Ability to perform physical labor including heavy lifting and standing for extended periods
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Prior experience on construction sites or in related fields is a plus but not required
- Ability to read blueprints or schematics is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided
- Valid driver’s license for potential commercial driving or equipment operation roles is a plus
