Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) during daytime hours from 6 AM to 2 PM!
In this vital role, you will provide compassionate, hands-on care to our residents.. Duties
- Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility to promote independence and dignity
- Monitor and record vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates.
- Support patient transfer methods using appropriate equipment like Hoyer lifts and ensure safe manual handling practices
- Maintain accurate medical documentation within electronic health record (EHR) systems while adhering to HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality
- Collaborate with nursing staff to administer medications (if you are a certified med aide).
- Observe and report changes in patient condition promptly to ensure timely intervention
- Follow aseptic techniques during wound care, catheter care, and other procedures to prevent infection
Experience
- Prior experience working as a CNA or in a healthcare setting such as long-term care, home health, etc.
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems like PointClickCare.
- Experience providing specialized care such as Alzheimer’s/dementia care, memory support, behavioral health management or hospice care is highly valued
- Knowledge of physiology, medical terminology, and safe lifting practices including the use of Hoyer lifts and other patient transfer methods
- Demonstrated caregiving skills working with diverse populations including geriatric patients.
- Certification in CPR/BLS (Basic Life Support) is required; additional certifications like phlebotomy or medication administration are advantageous

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
