We are currently hiring college students for the position of After School Assistant to provide supervision and a fun environment for children in Pre-School through 5th grade.
Responsibilities
- Assist teacher assistants with general supervision of the children in the program
- Assist with snack service
- Supervise students in the play gym, and on the playground
- Assist with the preparation and implementation of program activities
- Provide homework help to students who have questions
- Communicate effectively with staff, children, and families
- Perform other duties as directed by the Site Leader and/or Program Coordinator
Qualifications
- 1-year experience with children, a plus
- Strong communication skills
- First Aid and CPR certification, a plus but not necessary
