URGENT HIRING – CERTIFIED LIFEGUARD NEEDED
We are seeking a certified Lifeguard for immediate placement at Camp Liahona in Holmes, NY.
Position Details:
- Temporary Full-Time Opportunity
- Immediate Need: Wednesday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Potential for Additional Days in the Future
- Lakefront Supervision at a Youth Camp
- Must possess all current New York State-required Lifeguard certifications, including CPR and First Aid
Candidates must be able to provide copies of all certifications immediately, as documentation must be submitted to the county prior to working.

Duties
- Vigilantly monitor areas to ensure guest safety at all times, responding swiftly to any emergencies or unsafe behaviors.
- Enforce rules and regulations consistently to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for all guests.
- Assist guests with related inquiries, provide excellent guest services, and promote a positive experience for visitors of all ages.
- Respond promptly to first aid situations or CPR needs, providing life-saving measures until emergency services arrive.
Experience
- Prior experience as a lifeguard is preferred, with demonstrated ability to respond effectively in emergency situations.
- Certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), Lifeguard, and First Aid from an accredited organization is mandatory.
- Strong swimming skills with the ability to perform rescue techniques confidently and efficiently.
- Experience in guest services or customer-facing roles that emphasize communication and positivity.

Pay: $21.00 - $22.00 per hour
